Kreistagswahl: Wahlergebnisse ermitteln

As soon as all votes for the district council election have been cast, the election result in the polling district is publicly determined by the electoral committee. After checking these results, the district election committee determines the official result of the election to the district council.

At the end of the voting process, the result of the election is publicly determined by the electoral committee.

As soon as the election result has been determined, the election officer reports it immediately to the municipal administration. In municipalities with several voting districts and with postal ballot boards, all election results are to be summarized by the municipal administration, in local municipalities by the mayor, to the municipal result. The municipal result for the election to the district council is reported to the district returning officer. Local municipalities report it to the Verbandsgemeindeverwaltung, which compiles the Verbandsgemeinde result and reports it to the district returning officer.  

The district returning officer compiles the reported results for the provisional result in the electoral area. The final result in the electoral area is determined by the district election committee.

The chairman of the district election committee notifies the elected persons and asks them to declare within one week of delivery of the notification whether they accept the election.
