If you want to hunt in Germany as a young foreigner and you have not passed a German hunter's exam, you must carry a foreigner's youth hunting license in your name.
If you would like to hunt in Germany as a foreign citizen, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a foreigner's youth hunting licence in your name. If you do not provide proof of a German hunter's examination, you can apply for a youth annual hunting licence for foreigners under certain conditions.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner youth hunting license.
The annual hunting licence is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01/04 and ends on 31/03.
With a youth hunting license, you may only hunt if accompanied by a legal guardian who is experienced in hunting or a supervisor with hunting experience who has been commissioned in writing by your legal guardian(s).
Upon request, the youth hunting licence must be presented to the persons entitled to hunt protection and police officers.
With a youth hunting license, you are not allowed to participate in group hunts.
