If you are a young foreigner in Germany who wants to hunt with griffins or falcons and you have not passed a German falconry exam, you must carry a foreign youth falconer hunting license in your name.
If you are a foreign citizen and would like to practice pickling in Germany, you will need a German falconry licence and hunting licence in your name. If you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be granted a foreigner's youth falconer's hunting licence and foreigner's youth hunting licences. If you do not provide proof of a German falconer examination and hunter's examination, you can only apply for a day hunting licence for foreigners.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner youth falconer hunting license.
With a youth hunting license, you may only hunt if accompanied by a legal guardian who is experienced in hunting or a supervisor with hunting experience who has been commissioned in writing by your legal guardian(s).
With a youth hunting license, you are not allowed to participate in group hunts.
