Aufstiegsbonus I Rheinland-Pfalz für bestandene berufliche Fortbildungsprüfung beantragen

Under certain conditions, you can receive a financial bonus for passing certain training examinations.

If you have passed certain further training examinations and meet the eligibility requirements, you can receive a one-off advancement bonus of €2,000. You must apply for this.

• Application for promotion bonus I
• Waiver of appeal
• Information sheet on de minimis aid

• You have a qualification from a German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Chamber of Crafts or Chamber of Agriculture
• You have a further training qualification at level 6 or 7 of the German Qualifications Framework (e.g. master craftsman, business economist, business administrator)
• At the time the examination result is determined, you are employed in Rhineland-Palatinate and subject to social security contributions or registered with your main place of residence
• You have not already applied for a comparable benefit in another federal state

There are no costs.

You can apply for Aufstiegsbonus I in writing or digitally at the IHK, HWK or LWK responsible for your region. If you would like to apply for the benefit in writing, please contact the chamber responsible for you, which will send you the application documents.

Processing usually takes 4 to 8 weeks.

The application period is6 months from the date of the examination result.

The Upgrading Bonus I is currently in the process of digitalization and should be available for digital application in the course of 2025.

Legal action is excluded as this is a voluntary benefit provided by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. For information on how to appeal, please refer to the decision of the responsible chamber.

• Payment of the master craftsman bonus for passing school-based further training examinations Approval
• One-off financial bonus for successfully passing master craftsman examinations or equivalent public-law further training examinations in industrial and commercial professions and in agricultural professions that correspond to DQR level 6 or 7.
• Prerequisites:
  • Qualification from a German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Chamber of Crafts or Chamber of Agriculture
  • Further training qualification at level 6 or 7 of the German Qualifications Framework (e.g. master craftsman, business economist, business administrator)
  • Employed in Rhineland-Palatinate and subject to social security contributions or registered with main residence at the time the examination result is determined
  • A comparable benefit has not already been applied for in another federal state
