If you are severely disabled, you are entitled to free public transport or a reduction in vehicle tax under certain conditions. If you have certain characteristics, you may be exempt from vehicle tax.

If you have a two-color disabled person's pass on which certain characteristics are indicated, you can use this application to apply for a supplementary sheet and a token.

This allows you to claim either free local public transport or a reduction in vehicle tax.

In order to be able to use free local public transport, you must purchase a token for six months or a whole year against payment of a personal contribution. The personal contribution does not apply if you have certain characteristics or receive certain social benefits.

Alternatively, you can apply for a supplement without a token instead in order to receive a reduction in vehicle tax.

For people with certain characteristics, it is possible to use the supplementary sheet with a token to claim both an exemption from vehicle tax and free local public transport.

If your supplementary sheet is damaged or you have lost it, you can apply for a replacement.

• Valid two-color disabled person's pass including certain characteristics
• If applicable, proof of receipt of certain social benefits for exemption from the cost of the personal contribution to the token

• You must have an assessed degree of disability of at least 50.
• You must have a valid two-color disabled person's pass.
• You must have been awarded at least one of the following disability symbols: G, aG, Bl, H, Gl.

After you have submitted the application, your documents will be checked for eligibility on a supplementary sheet.

If you meet the requirements, the fee to be paid by you will be determined and a remittance slip will be sent to you.

The supplementary sheet with token will be sent to you after payment.

If you meet the requirements for a supplementary sheet with a token without a personal contribution, the supplementary sheet with token will be sent to you immediately.

If you do not meet the requirements, you will receive a rejection letter.

• For supplementary sheet with paid token or without token: approx. a few days
• For supplementary sheet with free token: a few days
• The processing time may vary in the event of a rejection.

Depending on receipt of the application. If the month of application has already passed, the supplementary sheet with token will only be issued for the following month.

• Prerequisite is a valid severely disabled person's pass with a half-page orange imprint (two-color pass) with at least one of the following marks: G, aG, Bl, H, Gl
• Supplementary sheet with token entitles the holder to free transportation on public transport
• Supplement without a token entitles the holder to a reduction in vehicle tax
• Cost of token: €46 with validity for half a year, €91 with validity for a whole year
• The personal contribution for the token is waived for certain characteristics and recipients of social benefits
