German brandy may only be placed on the market with an official examination number. In order to issue the test number, the brandy must be analytically examined.
For analysis, at least 3 bottles of brandy must be attached free of charge.
The responsibility lies with the Lower Saxony State Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety (LAVES).
