Werkstattkarte Ersatz wegen Beschädigung oder Fehlfunktion

If a workshop card is damaged or can no longer be used due to a malfunction, a replacement card must be requested from the competent authority.

• Proof of the recognition or commissioning of the workshop according to § 57b Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) in the currently valid version. The proof must not be older than three years.
• Proof of training of the specialist according to § 57b Abs. 3 of the StVZO
• Proof in the form of a written declaration by the employer that the employee concerned is still employed by the company as a responsible specialist (signed by the employer and the employee)
   

In the event of an application for replacement of the workshop card due to damage or malfunction, the no longer usable card must be returned to the competent authority.

A new workshop card will be issued to the applicant within 5 working days from the receipt of the complete application documents.

The defective workshop card must be presented to the issuing authority for inspection. If the test result shows that the card has a malfunction that was not caused by the workshop, the workshop will receive a new card under warranty.
