The use of the professional title "Consulting Engineer" in the name of the company is protected in Niederachsen. If the company has a registered office in Lower Saxony and the professional title "Consulting Engineer" is to be used in the name of a partnership company, the company must be entered in the list of consulting engineers.

The company must immediately notify the Chamber of Engineers of any changes to the entry in the commercial register or partnership register, changes in the number of shareholders and changes in the extent of a shareholder's participation in the company.

Administrative court action

As a managing director / shareholder of a partnership company established in Lower Saxony, you must make an entry in the list of consulting engineers for the use of the professional title "Consulting Engineer" in the name of this company.

The responsibility lies with the Chamber of Engineers of Lower Saxony.
