§ 14 Lower Saxony Monument Protection Act (NDSchG)
The discovery of archaeologically significant objects must be notified. From time to time, antique coins, ceramic shards, flint chips, historical metal remains, etc. could be found in the earth or in the water.
If further documents are required, please coordinate this directly with the lower monument authority.
The applicant must provide a guarantee that he or she will properly report and handle findings. This requires theoretical training at the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and a practical exercise.
The find must be addressed to the Lower Saxony State Office for the Preservation of Monuments or to the lower monument protection authority of the site or the municipality.
