Falconry hunting licences may only be issued to foreigners who do not yet have a German falconry licence after passing the German falconer's examination or passing a falconer's examination equivalent to the German falconer's examination in their home country. Whether a foreign falconer's examination is recognized as equivalent is decided by the supreme hunting authority.
