Anerkennung eines Kurses für den Erwerb oder die Aktualisierung der erforderlichen Fachkunde im Strahlenschutz beantragen

In order to acquire the necessary expertise in radiation protection, people must attend courses. If you want to organize courses to provide participants with the necessary knowledge in radiation protection, the responsible body must check whether your course is suitable.

• Do you intend to offer courses to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge in radiation protection?
• In this case, you must submit an application for recognition of the courses to the competent authority. You must meet the legal requirements for the recognition of the courses. The necessary evidence must be provided for this.
• The application can be submitted online or in paper form.

In addition to the application for recognition of courses to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge in radiation protection, the following documents must be submitted:

• Information about the applicant
• Detailed description of the requested course
• Detailed description of the forms of offer
• Overview of teaching materials
• Course Completion Details

The courses for the acquisition of the necessary specialist knowledge in radiation protection will be recognised if the respective requirements are met. The course is to be recognized if:

• the course content is suitable for imparting the necessary skills and knowledge in radiation protection for the respective field of application,
• the qualifications of the teaching staff, the teaching materials used and the equipment of the course venue ensure a proper transfer of knowledge
• performance is monitored.

The fee is calculated according to the time spent, but is at least 250 euros.

• You can send the documents for the course you are planning to take by post.
• The competent authority will check whether the course you are describing conveys the content provided for such courses in the Subject Knowledge Guideline.
• If the course meets all requirements, the course will be recognized. This is done by written notification.
• Finally, the competent authority will send you a notice of costs.
