If you no longer wish to operate an X-ray device, you must inform the responsible radiation protection authority.
If you wish to terminate the operation of an X-ray facility, you are obliged to notify the competent authority. The termination of operations can be, for example, the sale or disposal of the X-ray equipment.
The application can be submitted online or in paper form.
- Proof of the whereabouts of the X-ray equipment (e.g. proper disposal, return to manufacturer/supplier, disassembly/unfunctionality, sale/transfer)
- Return of the approval of the original approval notice by sending it to the competent authority – optionally in the case of X-ray facilities subject to approval
The notification mustbe accompanied by information on the whereabouts of the X-ray equipment.
