If the person responsible for radiation protection changes, you must inform the competent authority.

- The person responsible for radiation protection is a person who:
- requires a permit pursuant to § 10, § 12 (1), § 25 or § 27, a permit pursuant to §§ 4, 6, 7 or 9 of the Atomic Energy Act, planning approval pursuant to § 9b of the Atomic Energy Act or approval pursuant to § 9b (1a) of the Atomic Energy Act,
- carries out an activity in accordance with § 5 of the Atomic Energy Act,
- has to file a report in accordance with §§ 17, 19, 22, 26, 50, 52, 56 or 59, or
- on the basis of § 12 subsection 4 does not require a permit pursuant to § 12 subsection 1 number 3.
- If the person responsible for radiation protection is a legal entity or a partnership with legal capacity, the duties of the radiation protection officer are performed by the person authorised to represent them by law, articles of association or articles of association.
- If the body authorised to represent consists of several members or if there are several persons authorised to represent other associations, the competent authority must be informed which of these persons performs the duties of the person responsible for radiation protection.
