If you as an organization employ specialists in psychosocial legal aid, you can apply for funding for the resulting personnel costs.

The aim of the grant is to maintain and expand a nationwide network of victim support facilities in Lower Saxony that offer free psychosocial court support. If you as an organization support this goal by employing specialists in psychosocial trial support, you can apply for funding from the state for the personnel costs incurred.

In order to receive this funding, you must submit an application for the approval of grants for the implementation of a state-wide psychosocial trial support service.

The Ambulante Justizsozialdienst Niedersachsen (AJSD) will approve the funds after reviewing all the documents and evidence to be submitted, within the limits of the available budget.

• Extract from the commercial register
• Power of attorney, if applicable
• Proof of qualifications of all employees involved in the project
• Current job/workplace description of the person(s) to be supported

• You must provide evidence of the qualifications of the persons providing psychosocial court assistance
• You must meet the structural requirements for providing psychosocial court support
• The provider must be based in Lower Saxony

You can apply online or in writing for grants for providers to implement a nationwide psychosocial legal aid service.

• The Ambulante Justizsozialdienst Niedersachsen (AJSD) will review your application and then approve or reject it.

You submit the application in writing using the forms provided by the Ambulante Justizsozialdienst Niedersachsen (AJSD) .

No retroactive applications can be submitted. The funding period must be in the future.

• The approval period specified in the grant notification covers a maximum of one calendar year. The grant is awarded to you as a non-repayable subsidy in the form of partial funding for project support. As the recipient of the grant, you are obliged to draw attention to the psychosocial process support service as far as possible.
• As a grant recipient, you must prepare statistics in accordance with the legal requirements and submit them to the granting authority by January 15 of the following year.
