Public bodies, companies and private individuals can apply for information on business registration data.

The trade register is a list kept by the municipal administrations of the tradespeople registered in the municipality who have their registered office in the respective municipality.

Public bodies, companies and private individuals can obtain information about the business registration data collected on request. The consent of the person concerned is not required for their data to be passed on.

The trade authorities in Lower Saxony charge corresponding fees in accordance with the Ordinance on Fees and Expenses for Official Acts and Services (General Fee Regulations - AllGO).

The amount of the fee for information from the trade notification is based on the time spent in accordance with tariff number 40.1.4 of the Annex to Section 1 (1) AllGO

- Submit the application for information on business registration data to the responsible office.

- The responsible office will check your application for completeness and whether you have a legal interest in obtaining information on business registration data.

- If your application is approved, you will receive information about the business registration data and a fee notice.

- Appeal if necessary

- Administrative court action

Responsibility under trade law in Lower Saxony is determined by the Ordinance on Responsibilities in the Field of Commercial Law and Other Areas of Law (ZustVO-Wirtschaft).

In accordance with § 1 Para. 1 Sentence 1 in conjunction with No. 1.1 of Annex 1 to § 1 Para. 1 ZustVO-Wirtschaft, the following are responsible for the business registration procedure:
