Inheritance refers to the entire assets of a deceased person (testator).
As an heir, you are the universal successor. However, you are not obliged to accept the inheritance. You can reject the inheritance within six weeks of becoming aware of the inheritance. At the end of the six weeks, the inheritance is automatically accepted.
