Flying structures are non-stationary structures that are repeatedly erected and dismantled. Before the first erection and commissioning of flying structures, an execution permit is required. The execution permit is issued for a limited period of time for a maximum of five years in an inspection book.
- construction and operating specifications,
- construction drawings made of paper mounted on fabric or of equivalent material (clear representation of the entire installation, e.g. on a scale of 1 : 100 or 1 : 50),
- Individual drawings of the load-bearing components and their connections, e.g. on a scale of 1 : 10 or 1 : 5,
- Proof of stability as well as safety verifications of the mechanical parts and electrical systems,
- schematics of electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic installations or equipment;
- Drawings of the arrangement of the escape routes and their dimensions with mathematical proof for tents with more than 400 visitor places.
In accordance with Section 1 of the Lower Saxony Administrative Procedure Act (NVwVfG) in conjunction with Section 23 (1) and (2) of the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG), the building documents must be submitted in German.
The execution permit must be issued before the first commissioning.
Prior to installation (approx. 10 days), this must be reported to the responsible building supervisory authority and the inspection book must be submitted.
The responsibility lies with TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG – Approval Office for Flying Structures.
