The holder of a weapons manufacturing license or weapons trading license must notify the competent authority of the commencement and cessation of operations as well as the opening and closing of a branch office within two weeks (Section 21 (6) WaffG).
The competent authority must be notified of the commencement or cessation of the commercial manufacture and/or trade of weapons, and will accept such notification.
