Are you studying at a university or planning to do so? Do you have excellent school and university grades and are you committed to your studies? Then you could be selected for the Deutschlandstipendium.
Students of all nationalities can apply for a Deutschlandstipendium. The scholarship is intended in particular for talented and high-achieving applicants, but also for students in advanced semesters.
In addition to academic achievements, social and societal commitment as well as special personal achievements are also taken into account.
The scholarship is paid independently of other benefits, such as BAföG or parental income. In contrast to other benefits, the scholarship does not have to be repaid. Scholarship holders are supported with a monthly contribution of EUR 300.00.
The scholarship is financed in equal parts by funds from the federal government and private sponsors, particularly from industry. The aim is to establish a new scholarship and funding culture in Germany.
- Enrollment or registration certificate
- You have an outstanding educational record and are particularly socially committed.
- Among other things, the following will be taken into account:
- Your grades from your university entrance qualification or achievements already made in your studies.
- Your involvement in clubs, politics or church.
- Your private environment, such as particular biographical obstacles, raising your own children or caring for relatives, as well as your involvement in your parents' business.
- When awarding the Deutschlandstipendium, it is not only your academic achievements that count, your entire personality should be taken into account.
- If you have not yet received any material support from a scholarship organization that exceeds EUR 30.00 per month, you can apply for the Deutschlandstipendium.
You apply in accordance with the requirements of your university.
Your university organizes the selection procedure.
The selection committee of your university decides on the award.
The Deutschlandstipendium is granted for at least two semesters.
For the next academic year, your university will check again whether all eligibility criteria have been met and whether private funds are still available.
