Building authority-recognized test engineers for structural analysis can set up a second branch office. The establishment requires the approval of the recognition authority.

The application must be accompanied by the evidence required for approval, in particular information on

1. the responsibility for the activity in the secondary establishment,
2. the employees who are to be involved in the inspection activity and
3. to ensure the supervision of proper construction work.

If you want to set up a secondary establishment, you must fulfill all the requirements that are also necessary for a main establishment.

These include

- A room is available for each branch office where you can practice your profession

- You or a representative can be contacted at each branch office

- You can carry out your duties as a test engineer

- Supervision by the respective chamber is ensured

Fees according to tariff item 7.1.2 of the Brandenburg Building Fee Regulations - €200

The application for approval to establish a second branch office must be submitted to the recognition authority for structural engineers.
