Training and examination regulations for disinfectors of the training institution
The legally prescribed requirements for the use of the professional title are examined. After successfully completing the course and passing the examination, permission to use the professional title of disinfector is granted.
- You have completed the prescribed training and passed the state examination,
- You have not been guilty of any behavior that would make you unreliable to practice the profession,
- You are not medically unfit to practise the profession,
- You have the necessary knowledge of the German language to practise the profession.
The training institution will issue a certificate of training and recognition of special expertise in accordance with Section 18 of the Infection Protection Act for disinfectors.
The professional title may only be used after the examination has been passed and the certificate issued.
- The professional title of disinfector may only be used after obtaining a permit.
- Disinfectors can be employed in hospitals and community facilities. They can be self-employed or employed by a cleaning or pest control company or in a hospital.
- After successfully completing the course and passing the state examination, each participant receives a certificate of training as a disinfector as well as recognition of their special expertise in accordance with Section 18 of the Infection Protection Act and TRGS 522 for carrying out officially ordered disinfections.
