If you wish to stop eel fishing in an area, you must notify the upper fisheries authority immediately.

• If you stop eel fishing, this must be reported immediately to the higher fisheries authority (deregister eel fishing).
• You must provide your contact details and registration number as well as the date from which eel fishing will cease.
• After deregistration from eel fishing, the registered person will be deleted from the register by the higher fisheries authority.

You must have been registered for eel fishing, i.e. have a registration number.

• You deregister the eel fishery with the higher fisheries authority.
• The deregistration must include the contact details and registration number as well as the date of deregistration from eel fishing.
• Your registration for eel fishing will be removed from the register.
