If you wish to use a fishing vessel for eel fishing, you must report this to the competent lower fishing authority.

If you wish to use a fishing vessel for eel fishing, you must register the vessel with the competent lower fisheries authority (registering a fishing vessel for eel fishing).

You provide your contact details and registration number as well as the date from which the fishing vessel is to be used for eel fishing and details of the fishing vessel.

You must be registered for eel fishing, i.e. have a registration number.

• You register the fishing vessel with the competent lower fisheries authority before starting eel fishing.
• The registration must include contact details, the registration number, the date from which the vessel is to be used for eel fishing and details of the fishing vessel.
• Your registered fishing vessel for eel fishing will be entered in a register.

If you no longer wish to use a fishing vessel for commercial eel fishing, you must notify the competent lower fishing authority immediately. The fishing vessel will then be deleted from the list by the competent lower fishing authority.
