You must regularly prepare a measurement report on the results of the continuous measurements and send it to the responsible immission control authority within certain deadlines.

• You are the operator of a large combustion, gas turbine or internal combustion engine system.

• You have put your plant into operation.

• You evaluate the continuous measurements of each calendar year.
• You prepare a measurement report on the results.
• You send the measurement report to the immission control authority responsible for you by the deadline.

There is no statutory processing time.

• You must submit the measurement report for each calendar year to the responsible immission control authority by March 31 of the following year at the latest.
• You must keep the measurement report and the records of the measuring devices for at least 5 years after the end of the respective reporting period.

You can use the following website to search for accredited measuring institutes that can certify the correct installation of the measuring devices you use:

• certify proper installation,
• carry out the calibration,
• test the functionality.

You are committing an administrative offense if you:

• fail to carry out continuous measurements,
• do not submit the measurement report on time,
• do not keep the measurement report and the records of the measuring devices for at least 5 years.
