Since August 1, 2004, the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeological State Museum (BLDAM) has maintained the list of monuments of the State of Brandenburg. It is continuously updated.
If a property with a listed monument is sold, the seller must inform the purchaser of the existing protection and immediately notify the monument protection authority of the change of ownership. (§ 13 Paragraph 2 BbgDSchG)
You must notify the lower monument protection authority of the sale of a property on which a cultural monument is located.
Your notification will be processed by the competent authority for examination.
