After the death of a trader, a privileged group of people can continue the restaurant business. This must be reported to the competent authority
After the death of the license holder, the restaurant business may be continued by the spouse, partner or underage heir on the basis of the previous license during the period of minority. The same applies to executors, administrators or executors of wills for a period of ten years after the death.
- The following documents are required:
- Identity card or passport with a current confirmation of registration
- Information from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or proof of a professional qualification in a relevant profession
- Death certificate of the permit holder
The person wishing to continue the restaurant business must have the necessary reliability.
The notification must be submitted immediately.
The permit expires if the business has not been operated for one year.
