The register of foundations includes all foundations with legal capacity under civil and public law, with the exception of ecclesiastical foundations, which have their registered office in Bavaria. This directory is kept by the Bavarian State Statistical Office on the basis of information provided by the governments as foundation authorities.

The foundation must notify the responsible government immediately of any changes to the address of the foundation administration.

• Resolution of the foundation body

The address of the foundation administration has changed.

Costs are incurred for certain supervisory measures that only apply in exceptional cases, depending on the administrative effort involved and the importance of the matter. Otherwise, the activities of the foundation supervisory authority are free of charge for foundations that primarily pursue public purposes.

The change of address of the foundation administration must be notified to the responsible government.

This government forwards the changes to the address of the foundation administration notified to it to the Bavarian State Office for Statistics so that it can publish the current address.
