For municipal vocational schools, the state grants a subsidy for teaching staff (teaching staff subsidy).
The grant is flat-rate and is calculated on the basis of the total number of teaching hours per week. The level of funding for municipal vocational schools is between 50% and 70%, depending on the type of school.
Applications for a teaching staff subsidy must be submitted to the responsible government by April 1 of each year at the latest.
