Cultivation associations must notify the competent authority of the annual quantities of cannabis cultivated and distributed. They must also report how much cannabis has been destroyed.

Cultivation associations must provide the competent authority with the following information electronically each year on the quantities of cannabis in grams that they have cultivated and distributed in accordance with Section 13 (3) of the Act on the Handling of Cannabis for Consumption (KCanG)

• cultivated by them in the previous calendar year
  • were cultivated,
  • were passed on,
  • were destroyed and
• were present in their stock at the end of the previous calendar year.

The data must be broken down by cannabis variety and by the respective average content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

Permission must be granted by the competent authority for communal home cultivation and the transfer of cannabis grown in communal home cultivation by and to members of the growers' association for personal consumption.

The annual notification must be submitted to the State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) using the online procedure provided (see "Online procedure").

The annual report must be submitted by January 31 of the following year.
