The quantities of wine available for certain types of wine and quality levels must be reported annually.
The quantities of wine (in hl of wine, with two decimal places) available on the reference date of 31.07. of a year must be reported to the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture, sorted according to certain types of wine (also called rectified concentrated grape must - RTK) and according to quality levels and regional origin.
Natural and legal persons or their associations who have stocks of wine of at least 100 hl, regardless of origin, are required to register. Private consumers and retailers who sell less than 100 liters to the end consumer in individual cases and who also do not have cellars for storing and bottling large quantities of wine are exempt.
