The Free State of Bavaria grants subsidies for model projects in Bavaria that deal with the care and counseling of homeless people or people at risk of homelessness.
Purpose
The Free State of Bavaria provides start-up funding for counseling and information for homeless people and people at risk of homelessness with regard to the services offered by the regular assistance system.
Object
Funding is provided for model projects for the care and counseling of homeless people and people at risk of homelessness in Bavaria.
Recipients of funding
Public and independent welfare organizations in the Free State of Bavaria are eligible to apply for and receive funding.
Eligible costs
Funding is available for expenditure on personnel and material costs for model projects in Bavaria that deal with the care and counseling of homeless people or people at risk of homelessness.
Type and amount
The grant is awarded as project funding by way of pro rata financing as a subsidy. It generally covers the personnel costs for one specialist position as well as a lump sum for material costs amounting to 20% of the personnel costs.
From 01.03.2021, the eligible personnel costs will be calculated in accordance with VV No. 2.5. sentence 3 to Art 44 BayHO.
Funding for higher material costs can be provided in accordance with Sections 3 and 4 of the Implementing Ordinance to the Bavarian Pregnancy Counseling Act and with the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs in individual cases.
The above-mentioned measures are funded in accordance with the Bavarian budget regulations if a positive statement on the pilot project has been received from the responsible homelessness assistance coordination office.
Applications for funding for model projects must be submitted to the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs via the responsible coordination office for homeless assistance in Northern or Southern Bavaria.
Funding is handled by the government of Middle Franconia, which is responsible for this funding throughout Bavaria. The form applications are sent to the respective provider via the coordinators.
