If you want to drive an unregistered vehicle on public roads to a limited extent, you must apply for an exemption permit.
To be allowed to drive an unregistered vehicle on public roads to a limited extent, you must apply for an exemption. This is the case, for example, if a public road runs through a company's premises.
- Informal signed application with detailed justification as to why and in what form the vehicle is to be used on public roads

- You submit all required documents to the LBV by post or in person.
- Your documents will be reviewed.
- You will be informed of the decision in writing.
Before an exemption can be granted, approval from the local police department is required. This approval is obtained by the State Traffic Authority.
