If you have acquired a professional qualification as a paramedic abroad and would like to work in this profession in Germany, you can apply for recognition of your foreign professional qualification.
The professional title of "paramedic" is regulated in Germany. This means that you may only practice this profession with a government permit. This permit entitles you to use the professional title of "paramedic" and to work in this profession.

- Questionnaire on personal circumstances
- Signed, tabular CV with complete information on education, training(s) and professional career
- Certified copy of passport or identity card or personal presentation of the original
- Confirmation of registration or proof of employment or declaration of intent stating where the profession will be pursued in the future
- Certified copy of diploma and examination certificate or personal presentation of the originals
- Proof from the school/training institution of the duration of the training
- Proof of theoretical and practical subjects with number of hours per subject
- Proof of practical training (clinical internships) in the functional areas/departments (with number of hours)
- Evidence of the type and scope of the final examination: oral, written and practical examination subjects
