If you want to fish in Hamburg, you must first pay the Hamburg fishing fee. This also applies if you do not need a fishing license due to a special permit.
If you live in another federal state and want to fish in Hamburg, you must also pay the fishing fee, even if you have already done so at your place of residence.

- Anglers: EUR 10.00 per calendar year
- Full-time fishermen: EUR 500.00 per calendar year
- Part-time fishermen: EUR 300.00 per calendar year
- Fishermen on demand: EUR 50.00 per calendar year
- Fishing guides: 1,000 EUR per calendar year

In Hamburg, fishing fees from other federal states are no longer valid since June 4, 2019 due to the new fishing and angling law. The Hamburg fee must be paid by all anglers. Only Hamburg residents are allowed to pay the fee at Hamburg Service. You can also pay the fishing fee at private issuing offices.
The annual fee can be paid by an authorised person.
