If you have been informed by letter that you have committed a traffic violation, you will also be informed that you can attend the hearing. The hearing will give you the opportunity to comment on the accusation. The hearing will give you the opportunity to:
- to comment on an allegation and to take a position
- to appoint another driver
- to change personal data (for example, address when moving)
- to view evidence photos online
- upload attachments
- Hearing form
- Alternatively: Cover letter with the file number and the access code if you wish to use the hearing online
- The responsible authority sends you a notification that you have committed a traffic violation.
- The letter will inform you that you can comment on the allegation (hearing) or, if necessary, close the case by paying a fine.
- You can provide your information in writing on the hearing form or online.
- If you would like to provide the information in writing, fill in the fields on the hearing form and then send it by post to the responsible office. You will not receive a confirmation that your information has been received.
- If you would like to provide the information online, follow the link provided in the letter and enter the access code provided in the letter. Then fill in the required fields and click on the "Submit" button. You can then download the record of your information.
- After reviewing your information, the responsible authority will inform you whether the allegation still stands.
You can submit the request for a hearing or pay the fine within one week of receiving the letter.

- If you did not commit the violation, but another driver, you can name that person under “Statement II”. In this case, select “no” under “Admit violation”.
- Please provide the file number with all punctuation marks included.
- You can obtain further information about the online hearing by calling 428 39 3333. This is a recorded message that answers the most frequently asked questions (FAQs).
A hearing is a statement from you. No legal remedy is provided. Legal remedies are permissible in any subsequent proceedings.
