If you operate a large combustion plant, gas turbine or internal combustion engine plant, you must continuously determine, record and evaluate pollutant emissions through continuous measurements.

If you are the operator of a large combustion plant, gas turbine or combustion engine plant, you must continuously determine, record and evaluate their pollutant emissions through continuous measurements.

You must regularly prepare an annual measurement report on the results of the continuous measurements and send it to the competent authority within certain deadlines if the measurement results are not already available to the competent authority through suitable telemetric transmission.

Submit the complete measurement report if the measurement results are not available to the competent authority through appropriate telemetric transmission.

You are the operator of a large combustion plant, gas turbine or combustion engine plant.
You have put your system into operation.

If the measurement results are not already available to the competent authority through suitable telemetric transmission:

• They evaluate the continuous measurements of each calendar year.
• You create a measurement report based on the results.
• You send the measurement report to the responsible authority on time.

The processing time is not specified by law.

If the measurement results are not already available to the competent authority through suitable telemetric transmission:

• Submit the measurement report for each calendar year to the responsible authority by 31 March of the following year at the latest.
• You must keep the measurement report and the records of the measuring instruments for at least 5 years after the end of the respective reporting period.

You commit an administrative offence if you:

• do not carry out continuous measurements,
• do not submit the measurement report on time,
• do not keep the measurement report and the records of the measuring instruments for at least 5 years.

This is a report by you. No legal action is required.

• Operators of large combustion plants, gas turbines or combustion engines must:
  • continuously determine, record and evaluate the pollutant emissions from certain large combustion plants, gas turbines and combustion engines through continuous measurements
  • prepare a measurement report on the results of the continuous measurements for each calendar year if the measurement results are not yet available to the competent authority by suitable telemetric transmission
  • Submit measurement reports on continuous measurements of air pollutants from large combustion plants, gas turbines and combustion engines to the competent authority by 31 March of the following year
  • Keep measurement reports and records of the measuring instruments for 5 years after the end of the respective reporting period
