If you would like to set off fireworks with pyrotechnic objects, you must notify the responsible authorities in advance.
Before you are allowed to set off pyrotechnic fireworks, you must display this. This is the case if the intended pyrotechnic items are those of category F2, F3, F4, P1, P2, T1 or T2. In the vicinity of buildings or systems that are particularly sensitive to fire, fireworks may only be set off at a sufficient distance and taking the wind direction into account (for rockets at least 200 m and otherwise at least 50 m away). The burning of pyrotechnic objects in the immediate vicinity of churches, hospitals, kindergartens and retirement homes as well as half-timbered houses is prohibited. It should be noted that an advertisement can only be made under certain conditions.
Please include all necessary information and documents with your notification so that the authorities can examine your project:
- Describe your plans and the location of the planned fireworks display in detail. In particular, provide the following information:
- Name and address of the persons responsible for setting off the fireworks and, if necessary, the number and date of the permit or certificate of competence and the issuing authority
- Location, type and extent as well as start and end of the fireworks
- Distances to particularly fire-sensitive buildings and facilities within the largest protective distance
- the security measures, in particular barrier measures and other precautions to protect the neighbourhood and the general public
- Please attach your permit or proof of competence to set off pyrotechnic articles to your report.
You must have a certificate of competency or have permission from an authority in order to report the burning of pyrotechnic objects.
To place an ad, proceed as follows:
- Explain the facts in writing (you do not need a form for this).
- Describe the project and the location in detail.
- Attach all required documents.
- The documents you submit will be checked for completeness and consistency.
- If necessary, documents will be requested.
- There will be no feedback after a successful test.
