The professional license is to be granted on application if you:
- have completed medical training in a third country,
- are physically and personally suitable
- have at least B2 level German language skills
- have a job offer from a Hamburg practice / a Hamburg hospital
- the complete application documents have been submitted
The professional permit must be applied for in writing. You can find the necessary forms under the links below. As the process continues, you will be notified whether your application is complete or whether you need to submit additional documents. After the professional license has been issued, the professional license certificate will be sent to you.
You can raise an objection to a negative decision within one month of notification at the office specified in the letterhead.
