In the case of births in hospitals and other institutions where obstetric care is provided, the institution is obliged to report the birth.
If a child is born in your facility, you must report this to the relevant registry office. The jurisdiction depends on the place where the child was born.
Report the birth to the registry office within one week. If the child is stillborn, report the birth no later than the third working day following the birth.
You can report the birth in writing or electronically.

You can report the birth of your child in writing or electronically. To report it electronically, use the online service "Digital Birth Notification by Institutions".
Submit the birth notification to the responsible registry office.
The registry office will check your information and documents. If necessary, the registry office will request further information or documents from you.
The registry office records the birth in the birth register.
