As an operator, you must provide the responsible authority with certain information about your systems.

If you operate a large combustion plant, gas turbine or internal combustion engine plant, you must provide the competent authority with the following information on plant operation each year, taking into account the aggregation rules for each individual plant:
  1. the installed thermal output,
  2. the type of combustion plant,
  3. whether your plant is part of a refinery,
  4. the date of commencement of operation and the date of the last significant modification to the combustion plant,
  5. the total annual emissions,
  6. the annual operating hours,
  7. the total annual energy consumption,
  8. where applicable, the sulphur content if you use domestic sulphur-containing solid fuels,
  9. where applicable, the average number of operating hours per year if this number exceeds 1,500 for your system over the last 5 years

The information is communicated in Hamburg via the Bube-Online portal.

  • You have put your system into operation.

Verfahrensablauf

  • You submit all necessary information in the Bube-Online portal for each individual system, taking into account the aggregation rules.
  • The handover of the annual report is completed in the Bube-Online portal when you give the release to the responsible department.
  • The responsible body checks the information for plausibility. If there are any discrepancies, the processing status will be transferred back to you by the responsible body.
  • After the plausibility check has been carried out, the responsible body forwards your report (information from Bube-Online) to the Federal Environment Agency.
  • The Federal Environment Agency forwards its report to the European Commission.

Bearbeitungsdauer

The processing time is not specified by law.

They submit the report annually to the responsible authority on the Bube-Online portal for each individual plant by April 30 of the following year.
The responsible body will forward your report (information from Bube-Online) to the Federal Environment Agency by 31 October of the year following the reporting year.
