If you, as a foundation, wish to make a change in the foundation register, please report this to the responsible foundation authority.

You, as a foundation, can report changes to the relevant foundation authority. A change in the foundation register can, for example, relate to one or more of the following aspects:

• Name of the Foundation
• the purpose of the foundation
• Address of the Foundation’s office

It should also be noted that not all changes can be entered into the foundation register without a prior amendment to the foundation's statutes; this particularly concerns the name and purpose of the foundation.

Notification of the change request

• The foundation must have its registered office in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg
• If the name and purpose of the foundation changes, the statutes must be amended and approved by the foundation authority.

You, as a foundation, can make a change in the foundation directory as follows:

• Please inform the responsible foundation authority of the change.
• This checks whether the changes comply with the law and the statutes and whether they can be technically represented in the foundation directory.
• If the information about the change complies with the rules, the foundation authority updates the foundation register.

If you want to make a change to the foundation's register, which must be preceded by a change to the statutes, but this has not happened, your request cannot be implemented. You must first obtain approval for the change to the statutes.

Processing will take place promptly after final review.

Notification of any changes to be entered in the register of foundations shall be made immediately.

This service can only be requested by foundations.

No legal remedy is provided.

• Make changes to the foundation directory
• The foundation authority is examining the possibility of making the change in the foundation register.
• The foundation will not be notified of the outcome.
• Can only be applied for by foundations.
• The name and purpose of the foundation requires a change to the statutes.
