If you are unable to work in the general labour market due to a disability, workshops for people with disabilities can offer you the opportunity to participate in or integrate into working life under certain conditions.
If you have a disability and cannot, cannot yet, or cannot again be employed in the general labor market due to the nature and severity of your disability, a workshop for people with disabilities can provide you with appropriate vocational training and employment for a reasonable salary. In addition, work in the workshop for people with disabilities should contribute to the maintenance, development or recovery of your performance or earning capacity. Regaining your earning capacity can lead to you being able to be integrated back into the general labor market. A workshop for people with disabilities is mainly divided into the vocational training area and the work area. The length of stay in the vocational training area is up to two years. The facilities offer you various work opportunities.
