If you plan to commission certain medium-sized combustion, gas turbine or internal combustion engine plants, you must notify this.
The notification obligation generally applies to all combustion plants, whether subject to authorisation or not, with a thermal output of at least 1 MW and less than 50 MW.
For aggregated combustion plants, you must notify the planned commissioning if the combined thermal input is more than 1 MW and less than 50 MW.

You would like to commission a medium-sized combustion, gas turbine or combustion engine plant.

• You submit your notification with the required information to the responsible authority in writing or electronically.
• The responsible authority will examine your notification and request further documents if necessary.
• Your notification will be registered in the asset register.
• After registration you will receive confirmation from the responsible authority.

The processing time depends on the individual case.

• Submit the notification before the intended commissioning of the system.
• After receiving the notification and the complete documentation, the competent authority will register your system in the system register within 1 month.

You are committing an administrative offence if you do not submit the report, do not submit it correctly, do not submit it completely, do not submit it in the prescribed manner or do not submit it on time.
