Do you need information about your property boundaries or a parcel area?

• Inspection is only possible during opening hours by prior appointment.
• The clerk will provide the relevant documents in the original.
• The case handler provides support in interpreting the documents and advises on questions.

Provide credible evidence of legitimate interest in accordance with the Surveying and Cadastre Act in advance, e.g:

• Parcel and property owners
• Notaries
• Planners and architects

Proof of legitimate interest and the purpose of use must be provided in writing.

• Personal appearance by prior appointment.
• Making an appointment in advance by telephone or in writing enables the case officer to prepare the visit.
• Inspection in direct dialog with the person in charge.

• The real estate cadastre must meet the requirements of legal transactions, administration and the economy as a basic information system.
• It must serve as an official register within the meaning of the land register regulations.
• The real estate cadastre consists of the cadastral surveying work (raster), the cadastral map work (real estate map) and the cadastral book work (real estate book).
