Anwohner- und Besucherparkausweise / Bremerhaven

For certain areas, residents and their visitors can apply for paid parking exemptions without using the parking ticket machines.

Appropriate exemptions are granted for the following areas of the city center and Geestemünde:

Elbinger Platz,
Bismarck- und Schillerstraße,
Konrad-Adenauer-Platz,
Südliche Innenstadt,
Am Alten Vorhafen,
An der Geeste,
An der Pauluskirche,
Folkert-Potrykus-Straße,
Lohmannstraße,
Nördliche Innenstadt

• Copy of the certificate of registration
  • only in case of secondary residence / blocking of information
  • for new application and extension
• Copy of the registration certificate part I
  • completely unfolded
  • for new application and extension
• Proof of the degree of care, if applicable
  • Certificate of the health insurance company
  • for new application and renewal
• If applicable, copy of the contract for Car-Sharing
  • for new application and extension

The exemption permit for residents is issued if the residence is located within the respective resident parking area and the vehicle is registered in Bremerhaven.
For example, if a resident (X) lives in the city center and the vehicle used is registered to another owner (Y) with a foreign license plate, we require a declaration from the owner that the resident in Bremerhaven has sole power of disposal over the vehicle and is the sole user. Such a declaration is also required each time an exemption permit is extended.

Visitor parking permits are issued for a maximum of one month.

• Apply for a special permit from the Bremerhaven road traffic authority.

An informal application can be submitted (in each case with the relevant evidence)

• by e-mail (parkausweise@magistrat.bremerhaven.de),
• by online form
• by post or
• in person. At the road traffic authority during opening hours without an appointment. An appointment is required at the Bürgerbüro Mitte.

If you do not make an appointment in person, the exemption permits will be sent together with the corresponding invoice.
