For all citizens in the state of Bremen, an interest-independent initial consultation on solar use for private individuals and companies is offered on behalf of the Senator for Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing and the climate protection agency energiekonsens. The advice centers offer:

• Information on solar thermal energy (hot water / heating)
• Information on photovoltaics (power generation, grid feeding and self-consumption)
• Information on large-scale solar plants on commercial buildings
• Computer-aided system conception and design
• Yield simulation; amortization calculation
• Information on subsidy programs
• Bid evaluation

• Photovoltaic consulting

  The following information must be brought along for photovoltaic consulting:

  • Roof dimensions of the usable area
  • Roof pitch and sky alignment, shading if necessary
  • Information about the condition of the roof (type and age of the roof cladding)
  • Annual electricity consumption and electricity price (net)
  • If a profitability calculation is to be made: Financing modalities (share of equity/debt financing)
• Solar thermal consulting

  The following information must be brought along to the solar thermal consultation:

  • Roof dimensions of the usable area
  • Roof pitch and sky alignment, shading if necessary
  • Information about the condition of the roof (type and age of the roof cladding)
  • Number of persons permanently living in the house (hot water demand)
• Heating support systems

  For heating-supporting systems, additional information is required on

  • Heatable living space
  • Heating system (output, condensing or low temperature boiler)
  • Year of construction of the heating system and heating energy used (gas/oil)
  • Annual heating energy consumption
  • Energetic condition of the house (year of construction, renovation measures in the area of windows/insulation)
