Under certain conditions, a personal handicapped parking space may be provided for handicapped persons at their place of residence or place of work.
The requirements are in detail
- Determination by the pension office that there is an exceptional walking disability (aG) or blindness (Bl).
- No garage or parking space outside the public traffic area or within a reasonable distance from the dwelling.
- Heavy parking pressure, requiring the installation of a reserved parking space.
Please also note the option to apply for a general parking permit that will allow you to park in the general handicapped parking spaces.
The installation of a personal disabled parking space is free of charge for you.
We charge a fee of 11.50 euros for a new issue of the exemption certificate or the card in case of loss.
Please understand that due to the extensive checks and the hearing procedure, it will not be possible to set up a personal disabled parking space within a very short time. Particularly in the winter months, marking the site proves to be difficult, as the markings have to be applied on dry road surfaces.
