The 3rd ordinance amending the Driving License Ordinance provides for the international code number 96.

The driving license is issued for vehicle combinations consisting of a motor vehicle of class B and a trailer with a maximum permissible mass of more than 750 kg, provided that the maximum permissible mass of the vehicle combination exceeds 3,500 kg but does not exceed 4,250 kg.

Persons who are in possession of the class B and have the minimum age of 17 years can drive the class B96 by participating in a driver training course according to appendix 7a of the driver's license ordinance. The authorization is documented by the entry of class B with the key number 96 in the driver's license.

  • The machines are operated by outside companies and often do not work. It cannot be guaranteed that passport photos can be taken on site. We advise you to bring passport photos to the appointment.

• Proof of driver training in accordance with Annex 7a FeV

• Possession of driving license class B
• Minimum age 17 years
• Proof of driver training in accordance with Appendix 7a of the FeV. The contents of the driver training are specified in Annex 7a of the FeV.
