If the requirements for entry in the register of skilled crafts or the register of proprietors of a business, a craft that is exempt from registration or a craft that is similar to a craft do not (or no longer) exist and the Chamber of Skilled Crafts becomes aware of this, the deletion takes place ex officio.

Businesses in crafts requiring and exempt from registration as well as in crafts similar to crafts are compulsory members of their respective chamber of crafts and are registered there either in the register of crafts or in the register of owners of a business in a craft exempt from registration or in a craft similar to crafts.

If the registration requirements were not met or subsequently cease to apply and the Chamber of Skilled Crafts becomes aware of these circumstances, the business is deleted ex officio. Prior to this, the business is regularly given the opportunity to comment on the intended deletion.

With the deletion, membership of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts also ceases. If a craft business subject to licensing is deleted from the register of crafts, the crafts card must be returned to the Chamber of Crafts.
