Are you in training and experiencing difficulties at work, at vocational school or in your private life? Get advice and help to counteract early drop-outs or to make a change of training sustainable.
The aim of the counseling service is to support trainees with difficulties of any kind. It does not matter whether the difficulties arise in the company, at vocational school or privately. The aim is to prevent trainees from dropping out at an early stage. A change to alternative training can also be supported in the long term.
This voluntary service is aimed at trainees whose training relationship is at risk due to problems of various kinds. The aim is to mediate between the parties in a solution-oriented manner and to prevent trainees from dropping out of training or, in certain cases, to provide long-term support in the process of ending the training relationship until a suitable follow-up perspective has been created.
As part of the "You can do it!" project, consultation hours are offered at vocational schools for this purpose.
Of central importance is the intensive networking not only between the vocational schools, the employers or training companies and the chambers (in particular the Chamber of Employees), but also with corresponding other support institutions, such as the training office and the providers of training measures.
Consultations take place by appointment at the Youth Employment Agency or as part of the weekly open consultation hours at the respective vocational schools in Bremerhaven.
Weekly open consultation hours:
Commercial schools (KLA)
Tuesdays: 09:00 - 12:00 (Room B6)
Vocational School for Services, Trade and Design (BSDGG)
Wednesdays: 09:00 - 12:00 (Room 2006)
Vocational School for Technology (BST)
Thursdays: 09:00 - 12:00 (room of the student council)
The advisory service is voluntary and independent of the legal categories of SGB II and III.
